Notes
  • Reference
Authors use B30 for locus symbol Btn-rs1.
  • Experiment
    Authors used a combination of physical mapping approaches including Southern analysis of overlapping clones to detect all family members of the H2-M10 subfamily and localize them to mouse Chromosome 17. There are eight members in the C3H/HeJ mice and seven in the C57BL/6 mice. Five of the members map at one end of the contig in the H2-T region and three members map in the H2-M region proximal to H2-M6, H2-M4 and H2-M5. The five markers mapping in the H2-T region are H2-M10-ps1, H2-M10.1, H2-M10.2, H2-M10-ps2 and H2-M10.4. The three members mapping in the H2-M region are H2-M10-ps3, H2-M10.5 and H2-M10.3. The loci were ordered as follows: D17Mit47 - H2-M10-ps1 - H2-M10.1 - D17Tu32A - H2-M10.2 - H2-M10-ps2 - H2-M10.4 - D17Mit125 - H2-M1 - H2-M7 - H2-M8 - H2-M9 - H2-M10-ps3 - D17Tu32B - H2-M10.5 - H2-M10.3 - Btn-rs1 - H2-M6 - H2-M4 - H2-M5 - Mog - D17Tu42A.
