Notes
  • Experiment
    The authors sequenced a region of 714 kb of the mouse X chromosome centered around the Xist gene. A combination of ab-inition gene prediction, homology-based gene prediction and RT-PCR or EST analyses were used to identify genes in the region. The order and orientation of genes were determined to be: 5'-Slc16a2-3' - 3'-Cnbp2-5' - 5'- B230206F22Rik-3' - 3'-2010000I03Rik-5' - 5'-Xist-3' - 3'-Tsix-5' - 3'-Tsx-5' - 3'-Chic1-5' - 3'-Cdx4-5' - 5'-4930519F16Rik-3' - 5'-Nap1l2-3' - telomere.
