Homozygous null mice die at birth showing aberrant axon pathfinding and cortical interneuron migration. Homozygotes for one null allele show neonatal death, aphagia, delayed lung maturation and bronchial hyperplasia. Homozygotes for an ENU-induced mutation display craniofacial and cardiac anomalies and polycystic kidneys.
