Caption: Exoc3l4em1(IMPC)J/Exoc3l4em1(IMPC)J placentas at E10.5 exhibit multiple labyrinth zone defects, with reduced labyrinth trophoblast layer and impaired chorioallantoic branching. An abnormally large accumulation of maternal blood is seen adjacent to the labyrinth trophoblasts.
