Caption: Urm1em1(IMPC)J/Urm1em1(IMPC)J embryos are small and developmentally delayed. Almost all E9.5 embryos display incomplete turning and abnormal head shape and most have abnormal branchial arches. Half of E9.5 embryos have abnormal cranial neural tube closure, abnormal cardiac development and slight neural tube kinking. E10.5 embryos not dying have abnormal head and slight neural tube kinking. (details)
Represented Alleles:

Caption: At E9.5, AlleleSymbol(MGI:6385665|0)/Urm1em1(IMPC)J (-/-) placentas exhibit a diminished spongiotrophoblast layer, abnormal chorioallantoic interface, multiple labyrinth zone defects, and impaired chorioallantoic branching. (details)

Caption: By E9.5, Urm1em1(IMPC)J/Urm1em1(IMPC)J (Urm1-/-) embryos remain delayed but exhibit normal development including that of the heart and gut. (details)

Caption: Urm1em1(IMPC)J/Urm1em1(IMPC)J (-/-) embryos show developmental delay. Despite the delay, some E10.5 embryos show normal histology. This embryo has abnormal blood deposits and forebrain, and a slight neural tube kink. (details)
