• adult male mice show no major behavioral deficits in motricity, coordination, reward-seeking behaviors, working and short-term memory, associative learning, circadian activity, and no signs of autism and schizophrenic-like behaviors
• adult males show only a non-significant trend of increased latency to immobility in the tail suspension test but no detectable changes in the forced swim test
• in the pentylenetetrazol (PTZ)-induced seizure paradigm, adult males show a dramatic reduction in the duration of clonic seizures, suggesting resistance to epilepsy
• adult males spend more time in the open arm of the elevated plus maze than wild-type males
• in the open field paradigm, adult males show increased time spent in the center of the apparatus along with decreased latency to enter the center, suggesting resistance to anxiogenic behavior
• however, no increase in traveled distance is noted in the open field, suggesting normal basic activity
• adult males show decreased freezing time in contextual and cued fear conditioning
