Incidental mutations (data from Mutagenetix , APF )

Homozygous null mice have abnormal adrenal gland morphology, decreased corticosterone levels and abnormal corticosteroid responses to stress. Homozygous litters born from homozygous females display neonatal lethality, impaired lung maturation and delayed cornified and granular layer development.
