Mice homozygous for a null allele show delayed fetal growth, impaired placental development and low birth weight. Mice homozygous for another null allele show sex-ratio distortion, reduced survival, spermatogenic defects and incompletely penetrant eye, neural tube, skeleton and craniofacial defects.
