Notes
  • Experiment
    A panel of backcross progeny from an interspecific backcross between M. m. domesticus and M. spretus that were recombinants between Zfx and DXCrc98 were used to map Xist to the X Chromosome (mouse numbers J37, J49, J85, J42, J28, J12, J16, J18, J21, J48,J59, J124, J137, J81, J38, J102, J39, J80 and J109) The order determined for these markers on Chromosome X was centromere, Zfx, DXCrc140, DXCrc28, DXCrc131, Ar, DXCrc169, DXCrc171, Taf1, (Phka, DXCrc177, DXCrc318, Xist), DXCrc13, Pgk1, DXCrc323, DXCrc47,DXCrc98.
