  • Experiment
    A subset of 48 offspring carrying a recombinant X chromosome was typed for Gabra3, Plp, DXPas1 and Glra2. This subset from the (C57BL/10-mdx x M. spretus)F1 x C57BL/10-mdx backcross had previously been analyzed for 9 X Chromosome loci. Seven chromosomes with recombinations distal to DXPas2 were used to order DXPas2, Plp1, Glra2. Sixty-eight mice typed for Glra3 placed this locus proximal to Rsvp based on a single detected recombinant. The following order was determined for the X Chromosome in this cross: Centromere - Cybb - Hprt - DXHXS144E - Gabra3 - Opn1lw - Slc10a3 - F8 - Dmd - Pgk1 - DXPas2 - Plp1 - DXPas1 - Glra2.
