Notes
  • Experiment
The authors used three sets of primers derived from different regions of the Prkca gene to map the gene to Chromosome 11 using the T31 mouse-hamster radiation hybrid panel. The promoter and intron 10 primers were linked to D11Mit224 by a distances of 6.2cR and 3.3 cR and LOD scores of 20.0 and 27.4 respectively. The primers from the last exon was linked by 0.0 cR and LOD of 27.4 to D11Mit258 and by 7.9 cR and LOD 16.4 to D11Mit223. This suggests that the Prkca gene maps to approximately 66 cM on Chromosome 11.
