Caption: Bltp2em1(IMPC)J/Bltp2em1(IMPC)J embryos alive at E10.5 exhibit heart defects and some have abnormal head shape and blood pooling. All mutants recovered at E11.5 are smaller and most are abnormal although a few appear normal. (details)
Represented Alleles:
Bltp2em1(IMPC)J, bridge-like lipid transfer protein family member 2; endonuclease-mediated mutation 1, Jackson

Caption: Placental phenotype in Bltp2em1(IMPC)J/Bltp2em1(IMPC)J (Bltp2 -/-) mice. E10.5 placentas show a diminished spongiotrophoblast layer, moderate labyrinth zone defects, and impaired chorioallantoic branching. (details)
