Mutation
origin
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6NCrl
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Not Specified)
Mutation:    Single point mutation

Mutation detailsCRISPR-targeting introduced the mutation (TTT to TCT) responsible for the amino acid substitution of phenylalanine with cysteine at position 1729 (F1729C). Quantitative real-time PCR analysis of craniofacial tissues at E13.5 shows a ~25% reduction of Dmxl1 expression in heterozygous embryos, and a mild (~22%) increase of Dmxl1 expression in homozygous embryos.
