Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Applicable)
Mutation:    Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsGlutamic acid codon 534 (GAG) in exon 16 was changed to alanine (GCC) (p.E534A) and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted into intron 13. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent Flp-mediated recombination. The mutation renders the encoded protein catalytically inactive. (J:358182)
