Allele Type: Targeted (Hypomorph) Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion Mutation details: Exons 1 and 2 were replaced with a cDNA containing a GAL4 DNA binding domain. Cre-mediated recombination removed a floxed neomycin resistance cassette inserted into the cDNA downstream of the GAL4 DNA binding domain. This allele is hypomorphic. (J:202231)
