description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutation:    Inversion
  Hoxdtm12Ddu involves 13 genes/genome features (Hoxd13, Hoxd12, Hoxd11 ...) View all

Mutation detailsThis allele involved the use of an embryonic stem cell line with a Hoxd11/lac/loxP reporter gene inserted 5' of Hoxd13. A floxed neo was inserted 3' to the Hoxd1 gene in the reverse orientation. Crossing with mice in which Cre is expressed in the germ line excised the neo and reversed the orientation of the larger floxed sequence. (J:91567)
