Homozygous null mice develop juvenile cataracts characterized by defects in cytoskeletal filamentous actin organization, show a higher incidence of spontaneous lymphomas during aging, and display a greater sensitivity to lung adenocarcinoma formation in response to radiation or carcinogen treatment.
