All alleles(3) :
QTL(3)
| Mice resistant to corneal infection by P. aeruginosa have local infections that heal in 3-4 weeks. Infected susceptible mice show necrosis, eye shrinkage and blindness in 12-14 days. Dominant alleles at 2 genes are required for resistance. C57BL/6 has the dominant allele at Pscr1; BALB/c at Pscr2. |
