Mice homozygous for a null allele display hemorrhages, craniofacial anomalies, neural tube defects such as exencephaly and meningomyeloceles, cerebral infarctions, abnormal bone development, and >90% late embryonic lethality in addition to severe defectsin T lymphocyte and platelet activation.
