Mice homozygous for a gene trap allele exhibit poor embryonic development and embryonic lethality by E105. Mice homozygous for a hypomorphic allele exhibit decreased body weight and weight, decreased litter size and partial lethality. Mice homozygous for a point mutation exhibit a milder phenotype.
