Mice homozygous for a null allele are embryonic lethal. Homozygotes for a gene-trapped allele show impaired B-cell responses and B-cell adhesion, decreased susceptibility to EAE, abnormal dendritic cell physiology, fast extinction of fear memory, and impaired social memory.
