Mice homozygous for one knock-out allele show transient postnatal changes in granule cell proliferation, apoptosis and migration in cerebellum and delayed radial migration of cortical neurons in cerebral cortex. Homozygotes for another knock-out allele show reduced LTP and impaired spatial learning.
