    Authors used the Ter congenic strain C57BL/6J-Ter for linkage analysis. C57BL/6J-Ter was established by backcrossing 129/Sv-Ter mice to C57BL/6J. The 15th and 16th backcross generations were used. The genotype of these mice were Ter/+, Grl1129/Grl1<C57BL/6J. Ter/+ mice were test crossed. Recombination frequency of 2.0 +/- 0.1% was calculated between Ter and Grl1.
