Mutation details: A loxP site was inserted usptream of exon 17. An FRT-flanked neo cassette with a 3' loxP site was isnserted downstream of exon 17. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis on T cell extracts.
