Mutation details: The 3' portion of exon 2 and all of exon 3 were replaced by the insertion of a neomycin resistance cassette. The deleted region encodes part of the invariant amino terminus, common to all isoforms. A lack of protein surface expression was observed in spleen, lymph node, and thymus cells via flow cytometry.
