Mutation: | |
Insertion |
| |
|
Mutation details: This allele is a derivative of Blmtm2Brd. Three copies of a targeting vector that contained loxP sites inserted into the gene. Cre mediated recombination led to a deletion of the copies. This allele retains an extra copy of exon 3. However, western blot analysis on protein extracts of testes demonstrated that no detectable protein was produced from this allele. (J:66261)
