Mutations:    Insertion, Intergenic deletion
  Del(7Ipw-Snord116)1Jbro involves 68 genes/genome features (Ipw, Gm23862, Gm26504 ...) View all

Mutation detailsA cassette containing the 5'HPRT mini-gene, a loxP site and a neo gene was inserted 5' of Snord116 (Snord116tm1Jbro) and a cassette containing a puro gene, a loxP site, and the 3'HPRT mini-gene was inserted 3' of Ipw. Transient cre expression in ES cells deleted both genes. This region is termed the Prader-Willi Syndrome critical region (PWScr). (J:152022)
