Mutation details: A DNA fragment was replaced by a construct consisting of a splice acceptor, a floxed PGK-neo stop cassette, a mouse genomic DNA encoding Kcnj11 with a V59M mutation, and an frt flanked IRES GFP cassette via homologous recombination. Cre mediated removal of the floxed stop cassette allows for expression of Kcnj11.
