TS23: hair follicle Present Regionally restricted 2A top , 2A lower right , 2A lower left Expression was detected in a population of cells on the anterior of polarized hair follicles. The cells are distinct from the Sox9 labeled population.

TS23: hair follicle Present Regionally restricted 2B top , 2B lower left , 2B lower right Over 90% of the hair follicles were unpolarized and displayed vertically-oriented growth. The Cdh3 staining was observed as a central cluster of immunostained cells surrounded by Sox9 immunostaining (described as a bicycle wheel like ring of staining). Few follicles displayed asymmetry and were oriented randomly.
