Mice homozygous for a spontaneous nonsense mutation exhibit partial prenatal lethality, a hopping gait, preaxial polydactyly, male sterility due to lack of sperm flagella, impaired hearing, and patterning defects that are typical of impaired Hedgehog signaling.
