Mice homozygous for a disruption in this gene display reduced nucleotide-stimulated calcium secretion from lung fibroblasts and nasal and tracheal epithelial cells and chloride secretion from trachea and gallbladder. Induction of neuronal differentiationby ATPgammaS is abolished.
