    Genomic sequences representing mouse Sod3 were amplified in a mouse/hamster somatic cell line (BM3C) that carried mouse Chromosome 5. Sequences were also amplified in C57BL/6J mice. Conversely, sequences were not amplified in hamster cell line E36. These results show mouse Sod3 mapping with mouse Chromosome 5.
