  F2 progeny from crosses involving C57BL/6J and DBA/2J identified Crsp as mapping within a 10.1 Mb region of mouse Chromosome 5. This 10.1 Mb region includes Rxfp2. Authors provide evidence that a missense mutation in exon 12 of Rxfp2 results in the Crsp phenotype.
