Notes
  • Reference
Authors use D17Leh66D which has been withdrawn to equal D17Leh66Db1, D17Leh66Db2, D17Leh66Dg1, D17Leh66Dg2 and D17Leh66Dg3.
  • Experiment
The mouse Chromosome 17 locus Tme is absent in deletion mutants Thp and TLub2 and is located within a general region of approximately 1 cM between D17Rp17e and the D17Leh66D complex (D17Leh66Db1 - D17Leh66Db2 - D17Leh66Dg1 - D17Leh66Dg2 - D17Leh66Dg3). Using Southern analysis on tLub2, THp and TOrl chromosomes the probes for Plg, Igf2r, and Sod2 were informative in defining the region containing Tme as lying between Plg and Sod2 and within the tLub2 deletion. Authors state that analysis of cosmid clones show that Sod2 resides in the distal border of tLub2.
