  • Experiment
    BXD recombinant inbred mice were used to map Pkd1 on mouse Chromosome 17. TaqI restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLP's) for C57BL/6 and DBA/2 alleles were followed in 21 strains. Pkd1, Hba-ps4, Tsc2 and D17Lon1 were all reported to have identical strain distribution patterns of segregating bands, implying their co-localization.
