Experiment

Six monosomic offspring from the cross (Igh-1^a Serpina1^a +/Igh-1^b Serpina1^b T(5;12)31H female x C3H/HeH male) all carried maternally derived alleles for Igh-1 and Serpina1 from the translocated chromosome. Thus Igh-1 and Serpina1 are located proximal to the T(5;12)31H breakpoint on Chromosome 12.
