Genes
GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
Slc25a5 PCR amplified length variant Ant2-pA, Ant2-pB
Notes
  • Experiment
PCR analysis of somatic cell hybrids was used to map Ant2 to mouse Chromosome X. Analysis of two hybrid cell lines containing the der(16) Chromosome of Searle's T(X;16) translocation showed that they were negative for Ant2 amplification. These results enabled the authors to map Ant2 to the A-D region of mouse Chromosome X that excludes the pseudoautosomal region.
