Notes
  • Experiment
Analysis of 183 backcross progeny of the cross (C57BL/6J x SPRET/Ei)F1 females x C57BL/6J males by PCR and SCCP was used to determine the following order of loci on mouse Chromosome 4: D4Mit9 - 1.6 cM - D4Mit255 - 0.6 cM - Lepr - 0.6 cM - D4Mit155 - 3.9 cM - D4Mit31 - D4Mit46. Authors further state that Lepr maps within the 5.1 cM interval between markers D4Mit255 and D4Mit31 on the mouse chromosome 4 that includes the region coding for the diabetic phenotype.
