Notes
  • Experiment
A 900kb YAC contig spanning the Eed and Picalm regions of mouse Chromosome 7 was constructed to physically map loci within the region. The authors used various albino-deletion breakpoints to map eed, and l7Rn6 to a 150kb interval flanked by the proximal locus D7Cwr3D and the distal locus D7Rn5. Using similar methods the Picalm locus was mapped to a 360kb interval flanked by the proximal locus D7Rn5 and the distal locus D7Cwr11D. The authors suggested that the intergenic sequences within this interval may contain undetected genes.
