Notes
  • Experiment
The backcross (NZB/BlNJ x NZW/lacJ)F1 x NZW/lacJ was screened for approximately 350 SSLP markers. There was a significant association with the expression of autoimmune renal disease and distal Chromosome 4 markers. Using x2 analysis of Nba1, there were6 markers which gave a significant P value (in parenthesis): D4Nds2 (0.005) - D4Mit11 (0.005) - Lck (0.001) - D4Mit16 (0.005) - Epb4.1 (0.0005) - D4Mit48 (0.001). The authors place Nba1 7 cM distal to Lck, between Epb4.1 and D4Mit48. This was based on 7 of the backcross mice with a recombinant between Elp1 and D4Mit48.
