• Experiment
  The Alf/hsdr1 locus resides within an approximate 315kb region of the proximal breakpoints of albino deletions Tyr^c-14CoS and Tyr^c-11DSD. The Tyr^c-14CoS deletion also removes the first two exons of the Fah gene, whereas the Fah coding region is notdisrupted in c^10R75M. The Tyr^c-10R75M deletion may remove sequences essential for expression of Fah.
