    Analysis of Chinese hamster x mouse somatic cell hybrids suggest sequences on Chromosome 12 and Chromosome 19 are related to Lamb1. A hamster x mouse hybrid containing only mouse Chromosome 12 and X was positive for Lamb1-1 confirming its chromosomal assignment. AKXL and AKXD recombinant inbred strain sets were analyzed (no data presented) and suggest that Lamb1-1 maps close to Ly18.
