Notes
  • Experiment
Lif was initially assigned to Chromosome 11 using Chinese hamster x mouse somatic cell hybrids in which both mouse Lif sequences and mouse Chromosome 11 are missing. This assignment was confirmed using rat x mouse microcell hybrid FO(11)J11 which carriesmouse Chromosome 11 and is positive for mouse Lif and microcell hyrid FOB(11)J26 which lacks mouse Chromosome 11 and is negative for mouse Lif.
