  Segregation distortion of distal Chromosome 11 marker loci Mpmv2, Xmv2 and D11Nds2 with gene Om in backcross offspring from a semilethal cross of DDK female x (C57BL/6 x DDK)F1 mice was observed. This same distortion was not observed with proximal markerPmv2, suggesting a locus for Om on distal Chromosome 11. Futher analysis indicates that Om is closer to Xmv42 then to Mpmv-2 or D11Nds2.
