  (C57BL/6JRos females x M. spretus or M. musculus males)F1 females were mated to C57BL/6JRos males producing 203 progeny. A total of 3 recombinant proximal X-Chromosome mice (ID 31, 40, and 45) were analyzed to identify the position of Gata1 relative to markers DXWas70, Cybb and Otc. The three were recombinant between DXWas70 and Otc and had concordant genotypes for Gata1 and Cybb. Previous analysis of these mice indicated that one mouse carried a recombination between Cybb and DXWas70 and two carried a recombination between Cybb and Otc. These data suggest an order of DXWas70 - Gata1 - Cybb - Otc.
