Notes
  • Experiment
27 offspring from the (C57BL/10 x M. spretus)F1 x C57BL/10 interspecific backcross that were recombinant between mdx and other loci in the Cybb - DXPas2 interval on Chromosome X were analyzed. Phka was positioned telomeric to Zfx (3 of the 27 recombinants) and centromeric to Pgk-1 (1 of the 27 recombinants). Among 18 mice recombinant between Phka and Pgk-1, 17 were non-recombinant between Phka and Pgk-1 indicating that these two loci are closely linked. Haplotypes for six individual mice (H42, G48, B49, G63, V12, S12) were explicitly given. These data support a gene order of: centromere - Cybb - Hprt - mdx - Zfx - Phka - Pgk-1 - DXPas2.
