Notes
  • Reference
Authors use Thy19.4 for the H-2M2 locus.
  • Experiment
The C3H recombinant congenic strains R4-e and R4-l were used to map H-2M2. These strains carry the alleles for H-2K, Qa2 (now subdivided into three loci; H2-Q7, H2-Q8, H2-Q9), H2-T18 and Qa1 from the C3H host strain and the H-2M2 and H-2M3 alleles with the CAS3 donor strain, implying that H-2M2 and H-2M3 are distal to Qa1. Strain R4-l has an additional recombination breakpoint between H-2M3 and Crisp2, placing H-2M2 and H-2M3 between Qa1 and Crisp2.
