Notes
  • Experiment
From a total of 347 backcrosse progeny tested during the construction of congenic strain B6.4TCalpha (C57BL/6J = host, CBA/J = donor) there were no recombinations observed between the Tcra-V1 and C regions on Chromosome 14. The data indicate that the Tcra region is less than 1 cM in size. The authors conclude that this region which contains Tcra-V, Tcrd-V, Tcrd-D, Tcrd-J and Tcrd-C spans less than 1 cM from Tcra-V1 to a BglI RFLP marker at the 3' end of the Tcra-C locus.
