  Transgenic mice were constructed using plasmid pFR400. In line p447 homozygotes for the transgene displayed motor dysfunction similar to the hotfoot mutation. Allelism to hotfoot was established with the transgene allele designated ho^Jwg. Data for 58 mice tested for linkage was presented. 48 additional progeny were tested revealing one double recombinant.
