Notes
  • Experiment
The Sma1 mutation was mapped in 48 (C3HeB/FeJ-GhSma1 x C57BL/6JIco)F1 x C57BL/6JIco backcross animals using polymorphic microsatellite markers. Sma1 showed linkage to D11Mit224 at 66 cM on mouse Chromosome 11. The Sma1 mutation mapped to an interval between D11Mit333 and D11Mit201 where the growth hormone gene, Gh (65 cM), is located.
